Transport Infrastructure

To achieve a sustainable zero-carbon future, the UK transportation sector faces a challenging transformation.

Across both public and private transport services, the net zero target is an ambitious aim. Every organisation – across road, rail, air and water – face similar opportunities and unique demands.

Whether its public pressure or influence from major corporate clients, the transport sector faces increasing scrutiny.

Sectors We Work With

Lifecycle Support

Many clients have adopted a multi-phase approach to depot conversions (in parallel with funding cycles, such as ZEBRA, for example). E-merge work with you from design through to final completion.

Our services include:

  • Design and Feasibility
  • OEM engagement (to liaise with vehicle manufactruers)
  • Installation
  • Ongoing Maintenance
  • Electrification
  • Space and efficiency planning
  • Mobile support (chargers)
  • E-merge Approach

Most transport clients have high volume or high consumption requirements.

Typically, transport customers are looking to electrify their own fleet or to support staff and customers with EV charging points.

E-merge offer a consultative approach to every project, which begins with clear statement of the client’s objectives and current status. We work with clients to assess capacity and feasibility and – for the electrification of depot sites, for example – we will undertake and manage any required DNO applications.

E-merge advise and deliver on all aspects of vehicle charging (both LGV and HGV), energy capture (through solar) and storage.

We specialise in the assessment, supply and installation of high power consumption, including 150Kw systems and DC Chargers.
